shakespeare on the iPad

Can you replace your Shakespeare anthology with an iPad in a college class? Find out by watching my latest video. I share my reviews of three Shakespeare apps: Shakespeare Pro, Folger Luminary Shakespeare, and Shakespeare’s Sonnets by TouchPress.

celebrating the bard’s birthday!

It’s Shakespeare’s 450th birthday this year. He looks pretty good for his age, doesn’t he?First Folio Shakespeare

I’m celebrating Will’s natal day in a few ways this year!

1) Hood College hosts an annual Peeps diorama contest each spring, and this year’s is Shakespeare-themed. How could I pass that up? Here’s my entry:

Et tu, Bunny?

2) I’m hosting a film screening and discussion with my colleague Mark Sandona on film versions of Richard III:

Richard III Colloquium

3) And … I’m working on a video about the different ways that you can enjoy Shakespeare using an iPad. Stay tuned – it will be posted soon!

Happy spring and happy birthday, Will Shakespeare!
